I will be forever grateful to Vernie who gave me work at Cashway when I first left home then helped me get hired at KOUR. He was like a father to me with advice and guidance to keep me on the right track. But that was Vernie - always there with his world class smile to help those in need. He leaves a wonderful legacy and will surely be missed every day by so many whose lives he touched. Rest in peace Vernie and my deepest sympathy to those you leave behind.

We sure loved Vernie! He found us our home on the river, he was just as excited about it as we were! Such a kind and friendly man, he even placed a bid for me at a few auctions, we will miss him greatly!! Heaven has a real gem!
