We are so sad to hear of Francis' death. I have known him most of my life as neighbors & through 4-H. He truly was a man who epitomized love of country, family, farming, & faith. What a great model he was for so many! We are out of town til Thursday night, so, sadly, cannot share condolences in person. You are all in our thoughts & prayers.

Toale Family: I love Francis and Clara out at Pirie Hills. Francis would walk by the kitchen window and just say, I'll take the special, and kept on walking, Not even knowing what the special was. My heart is heavy at hearing the loss of such a wonderful kind man. I knew Francis and Clara through 4-H in my earlier years, but got to know Clara thru my hospice work and then Francis while working at Fairchilds in Winthrop... What at wonderful couple!!
